1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Clypse, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Clypse is an AI-powered video clip extraction tool. The service allows you to transcribe videos, generate clip suggestions, and export processed video clips with optional captions and formatting.

3. Account Registration

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use Clypse. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use or process
  • Use the service to infringe on copyright or intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or credit systems
  • Use automated tools to access the service beyond normal usage
  • Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Resell or redistribute the service without permission

5. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you upload and the clips you create. Clypse does not claim ownership of your content.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any video or audio content through the service.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the Settings page.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

Credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service unavailability.

8. Limitation of Liability

Clypse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. This permanently removes all your data.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
